EPR – Extended Producer Responsibility
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), aligned with the guidelines set forth by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) in India, places the onus on producers, importers, and brand owners (PIBOs) for responsible waste management. Irrespective of the waste type, the EPR framework requires each PIBO to introduce waste products into the market to establish an efficient and sustainable disposal system. This regulatory approach aims to shift the responsibility of waste management back to those involved in its creation, fostering a holistic and environmentally conscious approach.
We provide end-to-end solutions, assisting PIBOs in establishing and maintaining effective waste disposal strategies, ensuring not only regulatory compliance, but also contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

Certificates
OBP Certification for the ocean recycled polyester products
Nirmal Vasundhara has various centers in India approved by OBP certification, which collects approximately 500 MT of waste per month. More than 50 employees are working constantly with an increasing number of rag pickers
associated with the company to help our rivers and oceans be plastic-free.
There is a huge positive impact on the environment from waste collection and segregation. Global warming is causing heat waves in places that were never imagined, and plastic waste recycling will help improve the present
condition of water bodies and land. Eventually saving humanity from the coming apocalypse.
JB Ecotex is a registered recycler in OBP that collects plastic waste from authorised centres, recycles and converts it into fibres that can be used to make useful products.
